Week Five

This week the team met up to tape up the boat with duct tape and waterproof the seams with sealant. We met on Friday to do this. We also discussed the rest of the term and scheduled how we plan to complete it. We researched professors to inquire about out motor dilemma. We emailed two Chemical Engineering professors, but only Dr. Maureen Tang is willing to meet with us. Sandy will meet with her at 11:00 on Tuesday to discuss why our electrochemical cell does not power the motors that we have. We have a feeling that it has to do with the current being produced. We have not tested the current, we have only been using the electric potential and recording that. We will see what Dr. Tang tells us and suggests, and go from there.
